Ballasts“Super T8” ballasts are a great opportunity for energy savings in both T12 retrofits or your current fixtures. A low ballast factor “super T8” ballast is perfect for a retrofit conversion for T12 to T8 since it is tuned to provide the same amount of light as the T12 with few watts. Instead of replace-with-same in your current fixture, “super T8” ballast with high ballast factor produces the same light output as standard ballasts using 7% less energy. If the current T8 application is over-lit, a “super T8” ballast with a low ballast factor offers opportunity for even more energy savings. |
